Here’s a small audio teaser; we thought you’d be excited to get a first impression on EE2’s soundtrack. Xavier is working nicely on it. If you’re a long-time follower of Sagrada Guardians you’ll notice that the style is quite similar. Also I admit that I purposely designed EE2 to be remnicent of Sagrada Guardians for the exotic atmosphere and the temples.

I don’t know about you, but knowing that Xavier Dang is tasked with EE2 excite me :D

It’s an early sketch of Japhee, the heroine in Eternal Eden 2.

The design may change during the upcoming weeks (as I required slight revisions to match the storyline and the personality of the character) but overall I am very satisfied with Min’s work! :)

Eternal Eden 2 confirmed.

May 11, 2009 – Following the massive success of Eternal Eden on PC, Blossomsoft will continue to expand its brand new franchise with a new and exciting sequel.

Eternal Eden 2 will focus on Japhee, a female protagonist who possess a mysterious clairvoyance gift. Thanks to her special ability, the player will be allowed to influence parts of the game by reading the future through special artifacts. Just like its predecessor, this new installment will feature highly addictive game play, plus a number of new mini-games that will keep old-school RPG fans busy through these upcoming winter holidays!

What’s more, Blossomsoft is also currently working on two other big titles, one codenamed Project Stellar, and the other one is the long-awaited RPG known as Western Lords.

Good news!

First of all, even before the petition was started the verdict was already clear in my mind! Yes! This article was actually written some days ago and I just waited for the 100th comment before publishing it! “Wait,” you shall ask me “why this petition then?” . Well, I couldn’t resist to see the superb enthusiasm of my dear fans lol ! :) And WOW I’m very flattered to see SO MANY comments! We succeeded to have a petition with 100 comments within five days. Wonderful!

And thanks to your kindness you deserve an immediate answer: Yes, Eternal Eden 2 is under way!

Actually, even though I’m working on Project Stellar during my spare time, prioritizing Eternal Eden II is the best choice according to the circumstances, especially due to my upcoming Globe Trotter Developer Challenge.

In term of development and quality, Eternal Eden II will be comparable to Eternal Eden I. It won’t be a big jump but if you liked the atmosphere and vibe of the first installment you will certainly be in love with the next volume.

I should also say that Eternal Eden II won’t be a direct sequel. It will tell a new story, it will occur in a new universe, and introduce a bunch of new characters. Naturally it’s how the series is planned to be.

Don’t worry. Those who are concerned about Downey in Eternal Eden I, a small extension is intended in the future (and it should be free). Right now I just don’t feel inspired for this hidden chapter, so I don’t want to spoil anything by rushing it.

So, what about Eternal Eden II? Here’s what I can reveal at present:

The main character is called Japhee. She is a prophet with a special clairvoyance gift (well, think of Joseph in the Bible in the Genesis book). In her dreams, Japhee is seeing the imminent destruction of Eden. Alas she feels hopeless as her vision is hazy. Determined, she decides to travel the world to sharpen her skill and discover more about the source of this calamity. From this point, a great tale will unfold.

In addition, Japhee’s gift will affect the overall game play. Being addictive is almost certainly the trademark of EE, isn’t? :)
