Lucid dreaming didn't occur to me again... too bad. It seems I've been lucky, that said if it was really a lucid dream.

Thank you everyone for your replies! It's definitely encouraging.

We're almost there :)

P.S: don't forget to support other similar developers. If you liked Eternal Eden my best recommendation is the Dawn's Light series from developer John Wizard. Dawn's Light 2 and Lilly and Sasha are their latest games.

There's also Deadly Sin: Shinning Faith that is absolutely wonderful.

I also invite people to watch games developed by Warfare Studios.

I'd really love to have a room with plenty of videogames, like he has! It's very funny the way he complains about back to future games. But the funniest thing is that he's absolutely right!

The camera system is a good idea. It will give you a much more intuitive way to direct cutscenes.
In Game Maker every object can be a camera object. In every 'room' you make you can define a view, which indicates what is shown on screen. You can then define an object per room that the view is following. There are many options concerning the movement of the camera and the resolution of the view (which makes zooming possible) and you can define several views per room for easy switching.
It's an awesome way to control the camera and very easy to modify.

Good luck with your camera mechanism! :)

A camera system would be a very useful tool. This will also introduce movie-direction in games, a missing side in RPG. Well, it must sure difficult, but hope you'll manage to solve soon your problems! And that makes me even more curious to find out what RGSS2++ will be able to do!

The thing is, for some people, that kind of training is simply 'off-limits', and they are glad to do a normal push-ups, taking ages to work out even a little, but good luck with that, if you are in shape to do it ;)

If character faces, then well-done. If there isn't time, better go without them (imo).

As for the Machette, I've seen trailer recently, and it looks fun, doesn't take itself too seriously, making fun out of 80's action films. I plan to see it it near future, looks as a good relax when you can just turn off and relax, enjoy the mindless ride! :-D
