The website is back up, the forum's not there but everything else is. Maybe he is working on the game but there's no indication of any progress. Without a word directly from him, it seems like pure speculation at this point. Either way, I'm still not happy with him.

i went to that website and saw the game with the 1.05 version.

isn't that version the one that we had problems with and were waiting for 1.06? i bet this is another scam so watch out. for me...i'm done with this game and won't be wasting my time anymore with it. so good luck with the rest of you who have daredevil kind of thinking and don't forget to post the result.

Rose Portals confirmed that Whisper of a Rose will be release on April 2nd 2010. (next week!) Apparently, the game has been fully tested and results are positive.

Current customers will be able to upgrade for free of course.

Once it is released I plan to promptly dismantle it and see if he is lying or not.

He can't possibly expect anyone to trust him after his first criminal stunt.

At least he is making good on his promise, although in a much belated fashion.

I just hope he isn't planning on selling many new copies or actually having a go at developing games independently since his previous behavior has most likely fatally tainted his reputation.

His only real chance at this point is to work as a developer for another company that can oversight his work until/if he can prove he can be trusted.

Not that many people have heard about the game. He still has a good chance at making some money. You guys are talking about the game like he's the president or something. His first "release" only reached a very, very small amount of gamers, as is typical of indie games. So his potential for income/audience is still quite large. The word of mouth will certainly hurt him, yes, but it will not "fatally taint his reputation". After all, this is the internet. If he was smart, he would go by an alias, and try to disguise the "re-release" as issued by a third party (which would actually be his alias). But, as he's shown before, he doesn't seem to be all there.

Blossomsoft is not the creator of Whisper of a Rose. It's Rose Portal Games. I heard it will be released soon on Amaranthia website.

In certain boards, they are asking everyone to boycott WoaR. ALL of the employees.

Some only got partial payment.

I thought I'd let people know that this creator is a serious con artist. All should boycott his game.
